Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian film actor working predominantly in Malayalam cinema.

Son of actor Mammootty, Dulquer made his debut with the Malayalam film Second Show (2012) and later starred in the film Ustad Hotel (2012) which won the National Award for Best Popular Film. He made his Tamil debut with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) directed by Balaji Mohan. He was awarded with Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut two times in 2012 and 2014 for his performance in Malayalam film Second Show and Tamil film Vaayai Moodi Pesavum.[2] He was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in Ustad Hotel.[3][3] Dulquer Salmaan has been voted as the Kochi Times Most Desirable Men 2014 based on online polls conducted by the Indiatimes Group.[4] He has ranked 7th in Chennai Times Most Desirable Men 2014[5] and ranked 45th in Times Most Desirable Men 2014 in India.[6][6]
